CUSTOM PORTRAIT ORDERING INFO

Thank you for your interest in commissioning a custom portrait! Because of the detailed nature of my work I can only take on a limited number of commissions at a time. Once portrait spots are open I use a deposit system to reserve your spot. Below are the steps to secure your custom pet portrait spot:

Step 1: Review Pricing

My custom wood portraits start at $620 with prices depending on size and number of pets in your portrait. You can find a list of prices below. If you are interested in an option you do not see listed please email

Step 2: Reserve Your Spot With A Deposit

When I have portrait spots open you can reserve your place in my schedule by purchasing a deposit. This deposit guarantees your place in my queue and covers initial preparations. The deposit goes toward the total balance of your portrait. Deposits are non refundable.

If no deposit spots are not currently available you can join my wait list to be notified when new spots open.

Step 3: Email Confirmation

Once your deposit is paid I will reach out via email to discuss details such as the photo you would like me to work from, preferred portrait size and any special requests or details you want included.

You’ll also receive an estimated timeframe for when your portrait is expected to begin.

Step 4: Pay The Remaining Balance

Before I start working on your portrait I will contact you to let you know your turn is coming up. At this time the remaining balance will be due. Full payment is required before your portrait begins.

Step 5: Portrait Creation & Delivery

Once I start your portrait I’ll keep you updated on the progress. While I cannot guarantee an exact start date due I will do my best to give you an estimated window once your spot is confirmed. Most portraits take approximately 4-8 weeks to complete from the start date depending on size and complexity.

After your portrait is completed it will be carefully packaged and shipped to you.

What if I miss out on securing a spot?

If deposit spots are full, you can add your name to my wait list to be notified when new spots become available.

Is the deposit refundable?

The deposit is non-refundable as it secures your place in my schedule and covers initial preparation work.

How long will it take to start my portriat?

Due to the custom nature of my work, I cannot guarantee and exact start date. However I will provide an estimated time window when I confirm your spot in my schedule. I will also email you before I begin to collect the final payment and update you on the timeline.

What if I want all my pets in one portrait but don’t have a photo of them together?

That’s no problem at all! I draw the files for your portrait myself and can combine multiple photos to create on perfect image for your portrait.

Can I send in a special item of my pets to be included in my portrait?

You sure can! I love adding personal details. You can send your pets collar, tag or horse shoe to add to your portrait.

What if I need my portrait to arrive by a specific date?

If you have a specific date you need to receive your portrait by please email me before purchasing a deposit to verify that I will be able to get it to you in time.

Does my portrait come framed?

The prices listed do not include a frame but I do have framing options available for an additional charge. My wood portraits are attached to a wood backer with a wood frame on the back that strengthens the piece and can also be used for hanging. Your piece will be created with the edges painted so it will be ready to hang with or without an additional frame.
